Alexia Leysen works from her heart for our earth and the people who live on it. As a Belgian eco-activist, director, photographer, author and yoga teacher, she already inspired many people towards a more conscious life.
BACKGROUND
SUSTAINABILITY PROMOTOR
In her twenties, Alexia was the founder and campaign leader of Dagen Zonder Vlees (”Days Without Meat”), a popular challenge in Flanders to eat less animal products. As non-vegeterians she and her team inspired an incredible amount of citizens, celebrities, business leaders and politicians to change habits. After 7 years of campaigning, meat consumption in Belgium officially dropped remarkably more than in all other European countries!

THEATER, WRITING & PHOTOGRAPHY
In collaboration with other creatives, Alexia created theatre plays that touched many hearts. In 2019, she had her debut photo exhibition of her Hasselblad portraits. Her artistic work traveled throughout Flanders and the Netherlands.
Now Alexia is on a path towards a slower, wilder life connecting herself and others more directly to nature. She believes in sharing the power of yoga, herbalism, foraging, permaculture... Because more than ever people need to come together in a natural setting for beauty, wonder, and connection. More than ever, we must learn how to live more simply and regeneratively. More than ever, we must find our inner peace.
